A Happy, Tragic Story....

Last Sunday night, Kurt's youngest brother Nick was out with the missionaries to teach a family. Not sure if you're heard about the amount of snow Utah has received, unless you live there of course...but it's been a lot, making the roads very slick! "On the way home, he tried to stop at a stop sign and the Rodeo couldn't stop, so it slid out into oncoming traffic on the highway. A pickup truck with a snow plow on the front tried to miss him, but slid into the Rodeo. Fortunately, Nick had it sliding away from the truck and it hit him starting in the back of the car, popping both driver's side tires and breaking out the windows and slicing up the side of the car. Nick was protected as he walked away without a scratch" as described by Nancy (Kurt's mom). Nick mentioned that he did have a little scratch of blood on his hand, but that was from getting his stuff out of the SUV after the accident. He was truly blessed and protected. Looking at the car he should have definately been hurt... Nick will be leaving for his mission on February 27th.

What is the tragic part of the story you ask? We were going to borrow the Rodeo to visit some of you during our week in Utah. We still would love to see you in Provo, but may not have the wheels to do so. Maybe we could have a little party in Heber?
