My friend Tanya and I were born a week apart, so last night we decided to head to the park for a BBQ. The Mordecai/Damaceno family also joined in on the fun. I had fun making the cake for the party. I decided to try to out my checkboard insert that I got a few years ago. It turned out great! The outside of the cake wasn't quite as cute (a warm kitchen and frosting do not mesh well), but oh well. It tasted good.

the cake turned out great! it's kinda a pain pouring it though huh? just a lil messy! but pink and brown... darling of course!
