Flight Home

As I mentioned in a previous post - the kids and I stayed in Utah a couple day longer than Kurt. I was a little nervous about flying with both kids by myself, but since it isn't a super long flight and I knew my in-laws would help me get settled in the airport I thought I could do it.

The flight was a total success and I was blessed with several people along the way that offered to help. An older lady took the time to put Logan's sandals on after security and offered to hold Kelsie while I got the rest of the stuff together. While waiting for our plane there were lots of loud kids that covered up Logan's loud excitement seeing all of the planes/jets. On the plane a lady sitting across from us offered to help with whatever I needed... "she's been there before". Halfway through the flight Kelsie had a HORRIBLE diaper that couldn't wait until we landed. I figured Logan would be OK, so I left him in his seat. One lady thought I needed to use the restroom and offered to hold Kelsie. The flight attendant already had the door open and changing table down. She also had a garbage back to put the diaper in. I mentioned to her Logan was by himself and she kept an eye on him for me.

Kurt picked us up and we made it home safe and sound!

I'm so glad you had a good experience. I love flying out of Salt Lake because there are so many kid-friendly people there!
