Don't let this picture deceive you...Kelsie is no longer holds the title "World's Happiest Baby". At 7 months old she is in the process of getting a mouthful of teeth. Not cool. Kelsie, How could you trick your parents into thinking you'd just about mastered the sleeping through the night thing...and BAM! starting waking up every 2-4 hours. Not cool. Despite regular does of tylenol and Baby Oragel (well the oragel did help a little last night) Kelsie still wakes up screaming. The only way I've found to calm her down is to give her tylenol if its time and to nurse her. She'll then sleep for a couple hours and then do it over again. This does not make for a very happy mommy. She has been much more demanding lately instead of her happy go-lucky self.Other NEW things at 7 months:
- Sits up GREAT
- Spins, rolls, and scoots backwards
- Death grip and grabs anything within her reach
- Still wears some 3-6 month clothes, but can wear smaller 6-9 month stuff
- LOVES to play with her big brother. They can sit in the play rooom together for quite some time before getting bored.
- Starting to ditch her binky and go solely for her thumb
- Says "dada" regularly
- Doesn't mind kisses from the dog
- Likes fruit and oatmeal. Still not digging vegetables or dinners, would much rather nurse.
- Can drink from a bottle and sippy cup
