We had fried (kinda - we use olive oil) chicken for dinner tonight. I made Dad's famous flour/garlic/salt/pepper rub that makes the chicken oh-so-delicious. It also makes an AWESOME country-style gravy. We added corn off the cob from the summer that we froze, and some carrots.
So, here's what happened that justifies the title:
Logan LOVED the mashed potatoes and gravy. But he loved it even more when he put his corn IN the gravy and said, "Look, they're sinking!" I laughed - corn mixed in the gravy on the potatoes is a Keyser tradition. We all do it.
Kelsie was happily tossing down her dinner when I looked over at her and she ripped off a BIG fart. She looked up at me with a face like, "uh oh, he caught me." And then she did it. She sat there straight-faced, all innocent looking, turned to Rachel... and pointed at ME! What the...?!? How did she learn that so fast? Must be in the genes...
