Baby Details

If you are surprised to find out I am pregnant watch video below.

Anyways, I'm not very far along at all (almost 7 weeks to be exact), however since Kurt has been telling all of his co-workers I thought I should be able to tell my friends! My first doctor's appointment is on Tuesday, April 15th, so I should have a more firm due date then. However, according to my calculations the baby should arrive sometime Thanksgiving week.

I've been feeling pretty well, just tired and a little nauseated in the afternoons/early evenings. I'm happy to know there was a reason walking in the mornings has made me SO tired! I knew I was out of shape, but 2 miles isn't that long! I spent just about all of last Saturday night in the bathroom puking, but I'm pretty certain now that I just caught whatever bug Logan had last week because I've been feeling a lot better since.

We think the baby is a girl, but that doesn't really mean much because we were CERTAIN Logan was a girl. :)

If it's a GIRL, her name will be "Kelsie...." something. We're not sure of a middle name yet. Any suggestions? Last Thanksgiving we spent an afternoon visiting with Kurt's grandparents. His Grandma Keyser told us lots of neat stories about his Great-Grandma Elsa "Elsie" Plewe. She was an amazing lady and we decided shortly after our visit that we wanted to name our daughter after her. However, everyone over 40 kept commenting how we couldn't name her Elsie because of "Elsie the Cow". Needless to say we didn't want people comparing our daughter to a cow! I thought of Kelsie and Kurt immediately liked it. He likes the song "Kelsey" by Metro Station

If it's a BOY, his name will be Evan Craig. Much shorter explanation...I like the name Evan and Craig is Kurt's dad's name. :)

Logan and Baby #2 will be 2 years and 2 months apart. Pretty perfect. Since Logan took 3 1/2 years to join our family, we decided we didn't want to wait very long to try for another one. My body must have known what to do this time because it only took 5 months. :) I'm honestly glad I didn't great pregnant any sooner, but we didn't feel good about going back on regular birth control...so we had to be prepared for anything!

Yeah!!! That's so exciting. That'll be a good age difference. I laughed at the Elsie the cow thing cause we named Elsie the dog after Elsie the cow because she looked like a little cow when she was a puppy. Hehe...

Elsie was a name I really liked when I was pregnant with Alexys. However, Chad informed me that they had named their cow Elsie, so that one went out the window. Sad, because Elsie was a family name on both sides of our family.

Congrats!! That is great timing. Two years is a good amount of spacing.

I think Kelsie is a super cute name. I like the middle names Mae, Anne and Brooke. That's my two cents. :) Congratulations again!
