Others may argue with me, but I happen to KNOW that Logan has the best Daddy in the world. And here are a few reasons why....
1. He is extremely hard working. He goes to work everyday to provide for our family, allowing me to stay at home with Logan and care for him during the day. He not only plans for our everyday needs, but ensures that our future is secure as well.
2. He loves Logan unconditionally. He can't wait to get home from work to spend time with Logan. Every night they go out side and play--looking for bugs, airplanes, birds, and fresh fruit to steal off the trees for a snack. Kurt dreads nights that he is away from home, which happens far to often than he would like. Every night he is home he bathes Logan, reads him a story, prays with him and then puts him to bed. (Note: picture below is the Japanese stink eye)
3. He is teaching Logan to love the Lord. At 21 months, if you tell Logan it's time for prayer he crawls off the bed, folds his arms, and gets ready for prayer. Recently, Logan has added "Amen" at the end. Logan also loves going to church and nursery. Kurt also teaches Logan about God's creations. Logan loves animals, birds, bugs, butterflies, plants, flowers, etc.
4. These two are the BEST of friends with so much in common. Both love airplanes, fruit, Guitar Hero, bugs, Bronx, going outside, among other things. There is definitely no doubt Logan is his FATHER'S son.
5. He honors his priesthood. Not only does Kurt magnify his callings at church, he magnifies his callings at home. He has give both Logan and I blessings in our time of needs. He has always been worthy to do so. He listens to and follows the spirit. I can't tell you how many times he has acted on promptings from the spirit and guided our family on the right path.
I love you Kurt! Thank you for all you do for me and Logan! Happy Father's Day!
