1st EVER Keyser Family Reunion--Day 2

San Francisco (Union Square, Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf)

Friday morning we took BART into the City, and then had a nice long wait for the cable car. But, how can you go to San Francisco and not hop on a cable car!?! At least we had good company!
We took the cable car down to Chinatown. We spent a couple hours wandering around, shopping, and laughing at really bad translations. Jason probably bought the coolest thing...an electric fly swatter. It takes 2 "D' batteries and fries bugs upon contact. He tested it out Saturday night and it was awesome!
Grandma bought Logan a wooden snake that he loved and kept him happy the rest of the day. In this little alley, we also went to a Fortune Cookie Factory and learned how they make them.
Then after a short bus ride, we were off to Fisherman's Wharf. At Pier 39, we shopped a little more and watched the sea lions. At Pier 45, we saw the docked USS Pampanito and spent a lot of time at the Musee Mecanique. We saw it on the History Channel the night before and decided it was a "must see". We spent a lot of quarters on some really cool old-fashioned arcade games. Craig beat the arm wrestling game. (He started on easy and worked his way up to heavy weight) At the end we all got a much needed foot massage. We then ate dinner at the Fisherman's Grotto. We've eaten there before, but I learned this time that it was the very first restaurant on Fisherman's Wharf.
