I put Logan down for his normal naptime this afternoon (obviously picture above is VERY old), but he didn't go to sleep right away. He does play with his blanket and stuffed animals in his crib a lot, so I wasn't surprised. Then he started crying, again not unusual. However, his crying then started to escalate and I hear "MOMMA!" So I went in to check on him. With tears streaming down his face he said, "Momma I stuck". :( Somehow he managed to squeeze his knee through the front rails on his crib, but couldn't get it out. I pushed and pulled and couldn't get it out either. Finally I decided to try rubbing lotion on it in hopes of making it slide out easier. Well, it worked (after more pushing and pulling). Now his poor little knee is bruised and he is pretty grumpy.

I was always surprised when my kids did something like that. It makes you feel bad, but all you can do is get them unstuck even if it means a little more pain. The good thing is that they forget fast, and won't ever remember!
Poor kid! I suppose he was in too much pain for you to take a picture before pulling it out - but it would have been a good shot!
