Is Anyone Else as Tired as Me?!?

I went to bed at 1am this morning and had a little boy screaming to get out of his crib promptly at 7:20am....that is not enough sleep for a mommy, especially a pregnant one. I will most definitely be taking a nap time this afternoon!

Why in the world do the best Olympic events not start until 10pm or later!?! Kurt's been working at home a lot this week after Logan goes to bed (conference calls to China, etc.)...so while he's been working I've been watching the Olympics and scrap booking. (I have been able to do a lot of pages!!!)

So we've been crawling into bed between 11:00-11:30 or later every night, but last night took the cake. I kept saying I'll just watch this rotation and then look it up on the internet to see who won...well that didn't happen. For those of you who didn't watch the Women's Gymnastics All-Around Individual competition it ended right at 1:00am!!! But the Americans won Silver and GOLD, so at least I wasn't disappointed. Nastia Liukin did an amazing job. She was able to pull off the gold even with a few scores that should have been higher than she was awarded.

I've also stayed up to watch this freak of nature win every one of his medals in world record time. Who does that?!? Last night in one of the hours I spent watching they talked about his body type. He seriously is a freak of nature! "A 6-foot-7 wingspan on a 6-foot-4 frame, double-jointed ankles, elbows and knees, paddle-like hands and feet, a freakish ability to process oxygen, even a relatively narrow head. To be this good, you have to win the genetic lottery, and Phelps has."

I always thought he kind of sagged his shorts low or something, but it turns out he has the upper body of a 6'8" person! And his legs are for something under 6 feet I think they said. Crazy! He burns 4000 calories in one swim and pumps twice as much blood through his veins as a normal person.

Anyways, I keep thinking that maybe tonight will be the night that has events I don't care about on...sad thing is...the Track & Field events haven't even started yet! I'm doomed!

I can't stay up either. It is so annoying! I REALLY wanted to watch the all-around last night but I fell asleep on the couch. I had to turn on the news this morning to find out who won and I am so sad I didn't get to see it! Grrr.

Yes! I've been so tired, but you got to love those Olympics, and you got to love that Michael Phelps!
