Quick Update, well maybe not quick....

• Kurt's been working way too much and late at night. While in Hawaii his company got a new CEO (which is a good thing) and his group moved departments, giving him a new Director to report to. She decided to let go of one of Kurt's coworkers without making sure her projects were completed and that a person they hired in China was up to speed on everything.... So Kurt's been handling his work, his former co-workers, and staying up late to train the new guy in China. The only good thing? His boss said to keep track of his hours...so he can take some extra time off around the holidays.
  
• Last night we bought this MONSTROUS monitor so Kurt could work at home easier. Well, actually he is getting our old monitor to work from and we apparently have a new TV for a monitor. It's a 24" LCD HD monitor. Seriously, our regular TV is only a 26", I think Kurt is planning to watch movies on here from now on.
• Also last night we were able to meet up in Palo Alto with my best friend from high school Lisa and her boyfriend Kevin. It was fun to visit and catch up. They live in Redwood City which isn't too far away.
• Logan is talking up a storm, even out in public. I'd make a list of words, but it's far too long. Everyday is something new. He is starting to look and act like a big boy, which is good because he'll be the big brother before too long.
• We (Kurt especially), have been helping campaign for Proposition 8. If you haven't heard about it click on the picture on the upper right on the blog. Last Saturday he spend a few hours knocking doors explaining what the proposition will do and why it's so important.
• I've been staying up WAY too late watching the Olympics. But at least I've been multitasking...my scrapbooking is almost caught up!
• It's baby shower season...a couple weekend ago I helped throw one for my friend Alyse who is ready to deliver her first little girl anytime now and Wednesday I went to one for Kurt's old co-worker from the Prohosting days Melissa Salcido is also expecting her first little girl. Now I am working on a baby shower for my friend Ricelli who is having the only little boy in the bunch. :)
• We bought a new bed this week (to be picked up next week)! Kurt's coworker who was fired is moving back to Colorado and selling off her stuff. We're getting a super nice mattress for a steal! If any local would like our guest room mattress (for free!) you are welcome to come get it anytime.
  
• Next Thursday we're heading to Cameron Park. My mom will be watching Logan while Kurt & I head up to Lake Tahoe Friday night. Then Saturday afternoon we're going to go to the Train Museum in Old Sacramento with my family to celebrate Logan and his cousin Autumn's birthdays.
• Finally, the second week of September Logan and I are flying to Utah to visit Grandma & Grandpa Keyser. Nancy may also be throwing me a baby shower...not sure of any of the details yet, but if you are interested in coming let me know!
