I've progressed some...I'm dilated 2 cm. Everything else still looks good-blood pressure, heart rate, etc.
But the best news of all is that my midwife will be at the hospital Monday night...so she said if I haven't had the baby by then to go ahead and come on it and she'll get me started!
She likes to deliver patients that she's worked with. She is hilarious though--Kaiser doesn't schedule pregnancies (unless you're overdue, need a C-section, etc)...so she said DO NOT tell the nurse that she told me to come in. Just tell them I'm having contractions 5 minutes apart, am in a lot of pain, and I tested positive from the beta-strep so I'll need penicillin. She thinks the night nurses may be catching on to her. :)
So come late Monday night or early Tuesday we should have our new BABY GIRL!!!

You know what? My doctor actually lied to get the hospital to induce me early. My insurance was up on my due date so he had agreed to induce me a few days early. Plus, I don't doubt it was convenient for him to have a delivery scheduled. After I was already at the hospital, in bed, I was told that I would probably be sent home because I didn't have a high enough Bishop score (whatever that is). But the nurse called my doctor and then came back in a huff, but still induced me. I found out later that my doctor had told a fib so they would keep me.
Ahhhhh! That is so exciting!!!! I can't wait to meet her!
