Baby Mama Update

To answer a few questions:
How was the delivery?
Easy compared to Logan. Since we knew we were going to go in Monday night, Kurt & I spent the day resting and getting things ready. I also wasn't having hard contractions when we went in, so I was able to rest for a while (also once I got my epidural). Also for those who heard about Kurt falling asleep while I was in labor with Logan...yes he did sleep, but he was awake for all of the important parts. :)

My water broke and I received pitocin around midnight...she was born at 5:49am after only 15 minutes of pushing.

We also swore we'd never have another baby at the Kaiser in Hayward after Logan, but this experience was so much better! Apparently no one PLANS to have their baby around Thanksgiving so most of the rooms were empty and we got VIP service.

How am I (Rachel) doing?
A 100 times better than I did with Logan! I'm still healing, so I am trying to take things easy. Kurt goes back to work tomorrow, but my mom will be here for the rest of the week. More than anything I am just tired, which is to be expected.

Is it going okay at home?
Yep! Ask me again next week and I may have a different answer :).

How is Kelsie's sleeping?
It varies, but overall pretty good. I have high hopes for tonight because she actually stayed awake for long periods today. Last night she slept from 11:30pm-2:30am, and then from 3:15am-7:30am. If she keeps that schedule for a while I'd be happy! I had to wake up Logan every 2-3 hours throughout the night to feed him because of his weight loss...so anything is better than that!

How is Logan adjusting to having the new baby around?
He LOVES her! He thinks she's super cute and gets pretty concerned when she is crying. Tonight he put on his frog puppet and was trying to play with her. :) I am little worried how he'll react once its just the 3 of us during the day (me, Kelsie, & Logan), but he really loves her. Right now he has Dad and Grandma giving him lots of attention.
