Last Saturday my wonderful friends here in Union City had a baby shower for Kelsie. We were treated to DELICIOUS soups, rolls, salad, and pies (perfect for the rainy fall day!). It was fun to get everyone together to visit and play for the afternoon.
My mom, sister, sister-in-law, and nieces had to battle the rain and countless numbers of car accidents...but they were also able to make it to the shower and join in on the fun. Becky was in charge of the party games because that's her "thing". :) I think we played like 5 of them. Marlis won the "heaviest purse game" weighing in at a whopping 8 pounds! That is heavier than Logan's birth weight!

Lastly, my friend Alyse (the shower was at her home), made these adorable pumpkin cookies. The frosting was PERFECT. I thought for sure they were from the store, but she made them. If you are interested in the recipe check out
