I just realized it has been over a week since I last posted anything...pictures will have to be added tomorrow because they are still on the camera, but we've been having a fun but busy week so far.
Last Saturday, we ventured out to Lake Elizabeth for my first dose of real exercise (unless Black Friday and day after Christmas shopping counts...) since Kelsie was born. We did the 2 mile walk around the lake and let Logan play briefly at the park (it was pretty cold).
Sunday brought our first week of 9am church. Since Kurt is our ward YM President he has to be at the church for meetings at 7:30am...but he was home by 8:30 or so and helped my load of the kids, etc. and we were able to make it to church on time! I was pretty shocked. I'm hoping the trend with continue.
The next couple days were filled with cleaning and shopping in preparation for Kurt's parents coming into town for Kelsie's blessing. Tuesday night I was able to escape for a couple hours to a Relief Society Enrichment Meeting.
Wednesday morning Kurt's parents flew in from Salt Lake (well Heber City...) and Logan & Kelsie have been spoiled ever since. Logan scored some awesome Lightning McQueen slippers, while Kelsie received a teddy bear from her Great-Grandparents and a dress and Tommy Hillfiger tennis shoes from Grandma.
Logan has been having a blast with Grandpa--playing trains, race cars, legos, you name it. Today before we went for a walk at the park again Logan had to get his hat to match Grandpa.
Kelsie has been snuggled and cuddled by both grandparents, especially Grandma.
Kurt & I actually went out on a date WITHOUT kids. Craig & Nancy watch the kids for us Thursday afternoon while we shopped at Costco in peace and enjoyed a nice lunch at Carrinos without high chairs and spit up rags. It was wonderful! Who knows when we'll be able to do that again (at least without Kelsie...).
Tomorrow brings a full day of cleaning and preparing for my family to be here for Kelsie's blessing along with a photoshoot for Kelsie. I'm sure Logan will enjoy the added attention as well. This morning he and Grandma snuggled in bed and read "Horton Hears a Who". I think he's going to have a hard time when they head home next week!

Having grandparents leave is the worse part of their visit, but it's so fun having them! The kids get more attention than they've had since the last time the grandparents were there. Hehehe... Have a fun week.
Check out the double stroller! Can't wait to get walkin' with ya again. Kelsie is such a cutie!
Grandparents are in the enviable position of coming over, getting your kids all riled up, and then being able to leave. LOL
