Saturday Adventures

After our failed family photo shoot (see below), Kurt's Scout service project, and the much needed naptime...we decided to go for a drive with absolutely no plans of a final destination. Admittedly we left a lot later than planned and hoped to go to the beach and let Logan play for a bit, however we were able to head to the Marin Headlands and Kurt was able to take these awesome pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge and city behind it. I'm sure more will be posted on his photo blog later. We then drove over the bridge and a little through the City. We shortly found out that the huge Chinese New Year parade was going on. We would have loved to stop, but it was already past the kids bed time. However, we were able to see some of the floats from a few streets away. It was pretty cool.
