Visiting with Family for Baby Nathan's blessing

On Saturday morning my mom, the kids, and I packed up everything to drive down to Bakersfield for a family get-together. (Kurt drove himself down and met us there). We met up at a park in Bakersfield to visit and meet my cousin Kathryn's adorable little boy Nathan. They waited a while for him to join their family and then she had a hard pregnancy on top of everything else...so we are so happy he was able to arrive healthy and is cute as can be.
It was also way fun to see some cousins I haven't seen in YEARS and their families I had only seen in pictures.

The kids had a blast playing at the park and making new friends.

Sunday was Nathan's blessing at church. Jaren gave him a beautiful blessing and we can tell Nathan will be a special little boy.
