We actually had a "free" Saturday on our hands and decided to take advantage of it! We decided to try out this restaurant close to Monterey that Kurt's friends and Yelp.com keep raving about: Phil's Fish Market. Honestly we weren't too impressed, but it was a super busy Saturday or maybe we just didn't order the right things? Also on the way there I saw a sign for the Mission San Juan Bautista. Kurt humored me and took the freeway exit so we could go take a quick look. This is the mission that I built in Mr. Finkel's 4th Grade class. I'd never seen it in person. (For those who didn't grow up in California, EVERY 4th grader has to -or at least did- build a model of one of the 21 California missions)

Kurt humored me once again and let us take a stop on the way home at the Gilroy Outlets. I was able to get a cute skirt and shirt and the Eddie Bauer Outlet and some sandals at Nine West. Kurt found some "perfect" shoes. He promises me that he won't need new ones for a VERY long time.

Kurt's new shoes for his suit (on sale at the Johnston and Murphy outlet!).

We hurried back for our ward talent show (UC Ward Got Talent!). Kurt displayed some of his photography work and Logan danced the night away. We really should have signed him up...he was part of the show the whole night.

Then we finally made it home in time for Saturday night bathes. Don't you wish you were this flexible?
