Preschool Fun: Cooking

Today was our last "real" day of preschool for the year. Next week we're planning on meeting at the park for a picnic and letting the kids play....and then onto summer vacation. It's been a fun 7 months (Have we really been doing it that long?).

The theme for today was cooking and the kids were pretty excited. Tanya brought along her mom's FAMOUS cookie recipe and the kids helped make some cookies. (Marlis is seriously famous throughout our Stake for her Chocolate Chip cookies.) They turned out delicious!

After singing a few songs about helping our moms in the kitchen, etc. I was in charge of the craft. We made paper pizzas. The kids had a lot of fun making them and it was a lot of fun to watch them. Chaselyn carefully made her pizza-lots of cheese first and then nicely placed pepperonis. After seeing that Ashton's pizza looked like a face, Tyler decided to make his pizza look like his brother Jared. He used to cheese has hair. Benjamin decided the more toppings the better and piled a little bit of everything one. Malia must like plain pepperoni pizza because she skipped all of the other toppings. Logan calls his "monster pizza". :)
Snacktime was delicious as you can tell. After the oranges they scarfed up their chocolate chip cookies they helped make. :)

All the while, Anderson & Kelsie had fun hanging out in the living room. Kelsie rolled over and attacked Anderson with kisses. It was super cute.
