Christmas Time at our House

Our advent is almost put together! To Logan it's more of a countdown to Grandpa's house than Christmas. He's pretty excited to go to Utah.
Since we're flying to Utah Thursday morning (Christmas Eve) we had Christmas at our house Monday night after Kurt came home from work. I made spiral cut ham, "favorite" (funeral) potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, steamed veggies, and lemon bars. The food has lasted us all week! We finally finished the side dishes at lunch today and froze the rest of the ham. Then came present time! Packing all of our presents to Utah, just to fly them home next week didn't sound like fun to me, especially because we're flying Delta this time and they charge for checked bags.
This year we bought the kids a lot of classic Fisher Price toys. It's been fun watching them play with some of our favorite toys we had when we were little. Dr. Logan has taken good care of me this week. :)

Kurt was (is) excited about his new sweet watch I got him...His broke a few months back. I also got him a messenger bag/purse to carry around whatever he wants, along with a few other little things. The kids also made him a box of "Things we love about daddy". Logan colored strips of paper and then I wrote on them things they love about their Dad. The idea is for Kurt to take the box to work and read the strips if he's having a bad day. :)

Kurt did pretty good this year. I received a really nice jewelry box. My earrings and necklaces are usually lying around everywhere!...so now they have a nice new home. He also really loves me because he gave in and bought SingStar. :) Logan & I played today...I think we need to practice a little more, but it was a lot of fun. I also got the game Quiddler, a cute shirt, gloves, and I am sure something else...but I don't remember at the moment.
