I've decided tomorrow is the day I will "officially" start potty-training Logan (or finish potty-training him).
HELP!!!
He is "poop-trained" (which lets face it is the WORST part), and will pee if he's on the toilet, but NEVER asks to use the bathroom. He wears pull-ups throughout the way.
Any suggestions are definitely welcome. We're going to Hawaii next month and are leaving the kids with my mom. I'm sure she'd appreciate it if he was fully potty-trained since she'll be dealing with Kelsie most the time.

jaren says: let him run around naked for a day. he'll learn he doesn't want to peepee on himself and will start using the potty. or tell him when he has to go peepee, to go outside and water the plants.
me: great! this is what nathan gets to look forward to?
With my preschoolers I liked to just switch over to underwear. After about a week there were no more accidents. They don't really feel the wetness (espically boys) with pull ups.
I agree with Natalie about the pull-ups. They are too much like diapers. I did this with Myra and just started yesterday with lexi. I put them in big-kid underwear and they had a few accidents, but learned really quickly that they don't like being wet. I only use pull-ups if I'm going somewhere. I also let them pick out a Potty Present. They get it once they are potty trained. Good Luck! Potty training can be such a pain!
I think he needs to wear his new underwear. He will have accidents, but you just have to deal with the mess. I promise it works.
I just put Tyler in underwear and make him sit on the potty every 30 minutes or so. The trick that has worked for my kids is to slowly pour warm water down their front as they sit on the potty. It helps them to relax. Good luck. I seriously dislike this stage. We are still trying to get Tyler potty trained through the night...so far no luck. Good luck and have lots of prizes on hand for when he does go. Oh the joys!!
Just putting him underwear is what I would do, and then have him help clean up when he has an accident and try not to get frustrated when the accidents happen. It took Kate about 1 week of wearing underwear and having accidents and then she was done.
I think the running around naked thing works great for the first week or two. They do make cloth training pants that are pretty great for the after the naked stage. I could only find them at JC Penney back in the day when I bought them for Amelia. Not as much mess as undies, but can still feel the wetness.
