Today we decided to take advantage of our last full day on Oahu. We were lucky that the winds died down and the sun came out. It made for a wonderful day of snorkeling. First we drove down to Sharks Cove. Since I am not the worlds best swimmer or snorkeler it was a great place for me. Sharks Cove is not only gorgeous (bottom left picture below), but the cove protects you from the huge North Shore waves. It is super shallow, so that made me feel more comfortable. We saw TONS of fish. We then decided to take a little break for lunch and pick up Kurt's dad back at the condo. He started feeling a little under the weather a few days into the trip, so he did quite a bit of relaxing at the condo.

After lunch we decided to check out a beach recommended to us that was just past the Turtle Bay Resort. Kurt took advantage of every snorkeling opportunity he had and jumped right in. He was really excited to see a huge sea turtle. We spent a few more hours in the sunshine...and got sunburned a little bit. We then went back and got cleaned up before heading to dinner. We decided to eat at Haleiwa Joe's that was recommended to us by several different people. The food was DELICIOUS! It was a nice ending to our vacation.
