Housing Update

Yesterday we drove down to Scotts Valley to officially meet our realtor. Her name is Genie and she is super nice. We also found out that her office carries over 1/3 of all the listings in the county, so she'll get a sneak peak at a lot of homes before they are officially on the market.

We were able to walk through about 5 homes, unfortunately none of them were the right fit for us. The closest one that came to it was this one:
Kurt & I both felt like we could make it work, but it would be a short term home...not something we could stay in for while. The layout of the house is a little odd. Logan & Kelsie would have to share a room for longer or if another little one joined our family, one of the kids would be downstairs in a room by themselves.

We're still thinking positively and know we'll find something in Scotts Valley, because we know that is the direction we are supposed to move. We're not in a hurry, the right home is more important than the timing. Also a lot of homes in our price range that we wouldn't mind living in recently sold, so we have hope something will be coming on the market for us!
