Friday - She woke up at 12:30pm, 2:20am, and then was WIDE awake from 4am - 5:30am. I put her in bed with us and she just kept starring at Kurt and saying "Daddy" or "Hi Daddy". Seeing as he had to be at work in a few hours, he wasn't really liking that, so I brought her downstairs to watch cartoons and lay on the couch. The rest of the day we made sure she stayed on her routine napping schedule! Her right eye is looking pretty good, left eye looks a little more swollen and black. Her energy level returned, but we've been trying to keep things mellow. Kurt got home a little later than normal from work, so we went to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner - Kelsie & Logan both ate a TON.
Saturday - Kelsie woke up about 4:30am needing a little love, so I slept with her in Logan's twin bed (he was sleeping with Grandma) the rest of the morning. Her bloody nose appears to be gone, but her eyes are still a little black and blue. I've noticed a tiny bit of goop in her left eye (the worse one), but overall both eyes are MUCH better. The doctor said her eyes would still be watery for the next few weeks, so I am hoping the goop will go away too. I really don't want her to have another surgery.
Well, that's about it for now. We're still just taking things a little easy and applying the medication twice a day to each eye like Dr. Amato said. Hopefully she'll be back to normal in a few days.
