Tonight, Kurt is looking at 4 different house (2 in Boulder Creek, 1 in Brookdale, and 1 in Felton). None of them are short sales. Hallelujah! It was confirmed this week that Kurt will be able to work from home 2 days a week instead of his normal 1, so we increased our looking area out a little farther. I'm praying one of them works because we've already been released from our callings and I've already packed a dozen or so boxes. I really don't like the feeling of being in limbo.
I had a really hard time Friday night, but the awful feeling is slowing going away. Saturday we took a guy from our ward shopping for all of his missionary clothes. His family is struggling financially right now and he needed the help (he's never owned a suit or dress shoes, etc before). The ward is covering a big portion of it, but it was a much needed distraction from everything else going on.
Sunday, the kids and Kurt woke up with horrible runny noses and sneezing, so I went to Sacrament meeting by myself. I think the talks weren't meant for me. (All Things Work Together for Good by Elder James B. Martino Of the Seventy which I'm actually supposed to speak on in a couple weeks, kind of funny.... and Your Happily Ever After by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf). If you haven't read them you should!
