Depressing House Update

We've walked through 7 houses this week, and driven by a ton more.  I think we've sufficiently ruled out about everything on the market within our price range and I don't feel like we are being very picky...there just aren't any new houses!

We made an offer on a house on Thursday, they countered still out of our price range.  We could have counter offered back, but we realized after making the offer that the only bathtub in the house was a super deep jetted tub.  Nice, but not ideal for a baby or toddler!  We'd have to do some remodeling to make the house work for us and therefore couldn't go any higher on the price. :(  We're still going to keep watching it and see if they lower their price as time goes on.  We love the area the house is in.

Kurt saw a dumpy well-priced house on Friday night.

This morning we found a GREAT house, in a great neighborhood, almost perfect condition, walking distance to the elementary and high schools.  BUT it's a little out of our price range and we seriously doubt that it will be on the market for very long.  (It's only been on 2 days!)

So, that's my depressing house update. Nothing new.  Praying more houses come on the market soon that aren't nasty and bug infested, preferably in our price range.
