We have the APPROVAL LETTER from the 1st Mortgage!!! They want to close by August 16th, 2010, which isn't possible...but we could hope right? The bummer is we're STILL WAITING for approval from the 2nd Mortgage. I think they are the ones who have been dragging their feet the entire time, so I probably shouldn't be too excited yet. Our agent is making some calls for us trying to get some more information...hopefully we can just get this thing closed!
I also wish the house still looked like it did in the above picture. I think this is what it looked like when the current owners bought it...now there are shoulder high weeds everywhere, no grass, etc. But this picture gives me hope and shows the house's potential after a lot of sweat.
