Just Another Rainy Friday Night

I noticed I hadn't blogged in over a week, so I thought it was time to add something.  I'm trying to remember what we actually did this week.

On Sunday I survived my first Sacrament meeting with Kurt sitting on the stand.  Although, I pretty much only survived because I sat by Sister Scott and she kept Logan company so I could concentrate on Kelsie.  Kelsie loves her daddy SO much.  We were at church about 10 minutes early and Kurt and the Bishopric members were already on the stand.  Kelsie starts waving to her daddy and saying "Hi Daddy!". She waved to him several times throughout the meeting, but the funniest part was when Kurt decided to wave back.  When Kurt waved and smiled at Kelsie, a young woman sitting a row or 2 in front of us thought Kurt was waving at her. She waved back at Kurt kind of awkwardly. lol

After church we had some friends over for a Japanese dinner.  Kurt made the BEST curry he's made in a long time.  It was super yummy.  We actually were lucky to have 2 yummy Japanese dinners in a row.  Saturday night the Ritchie's invited us to their house for Japanese food.  We made our own gyoza and had a fun night visiting.  Funny thing is Ian and Kurt served in the exact same mission (Japan Nagoya Mission) 15 years apart from each other.

Monday, Kelsie and I hung out at Kreative Kids (Logan's preschool).  It was Logan's "leader day" meaning he got to have his mom come and hang out for the day, ring the cleanup bell, and bring a special show and tell item. Pretty much it's the most important day EVER for a 4 year old.

I also spent several hours this week working on replenishing our bow and flower supply for Redwood Ranches.  The most exciting news of the week is that a local pharmacy wants to sell our products at their store!  We're planning to talk to several other stores in the San Lorenzo Valley, but we have to start somewhere!

The rest of today was spent grocery shopping in the pouring down rain.  We're having major storms this week, so it's probably inevitable that our power will go out...because of that I stocked up on supplies.  Also, part of me is really paranoid that a major earthquake will happen in the next week, which has been predicted. Probably nothing will happen at all...but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry.
