Getting Ready for Yochien

We're enjoying our last couple weeks before Yochien (preschool) starts.  The kids "Welcome Ceremony" is on April 10th.  They are getting pretty excited.  It's kind of a big deal for Japanese families.  For me and Kurt, it's a lot of work!  We were given a really long list of supplies we had to buy for the kids and then organize and label prior to school starting.  (PE outfits, clay, clay container, clay cutting tools, crayons, markers, scissors, paint smock, towels, bags, jump rope, a Bible, slippers, funky looking hats, lunchboxes, chopsticks, cups, silverware, etc.)  There is a Mother's meeting once or twice a month that we are required to attend.  Lucky Kurt gets to come with me when he can to translate.

Kelsie trying on her PE outfits they are required to wear on Mondays.  Summer outfit above. Winter outfit below.
