Avri Update - 2 1/2 months

Last Friday we took Avri to see her pediatrician Dr. Endo.  He had been on vacation for the last month, so this was the first chance we had to get in to see him.  Avri was scheduled to start getting her shots.  We're trying the best we can to stay on track with the US recommended shot schedule since we don't know exactly how long we'll be in Japan.  The doctor also measured, weighed, and checked her out.

She weighed 4250g (or 9.36965 lbs) and is about 56 cm (22 inches) long.
Length = between percentile 10 and 25
Weight = between percentile 5 and 10

Avri has definitely discovered her hands.  She chews and slobbers on them every chance she gets.  We've been trying to give her a binky, but she's taking it less and less.  I'm sure we'll keep on trying, so we don't end up with another thumb sucker.  It's cute for a while, but not when they're 3.

She is still the world's best baby...and I've had easy babies.  She sleeping from about 9:30 or 10pm until 7-8am very consistently. She's staying awake more during the day, but still takes multiple naps.  This is the only kid I haven't  had a strict schedule with and she seems to be doing great.
