Sweet Potato Farmers

We went on a little field trip with Logan & Kelsie's yochien to a sweet potato "farm".  It was more like a patch of dirt surrounded by buildings and train tracks...but the kids did get to dig for some Japanese sweet potatoes.  They each got to pick three to bring home.

Japanese sweet potatoes are different than those from the US.  They are purple in color and white on the inside.  I used google to find a recipe to use for Thanksgiving.

The farm happened to be super close to the Logan and Kelsie's favorite bike park.  They rent out bikes (with or without training wheels) and go-carts for free.  They have traffic lights the kids have to follow and everything.  It's a really cool park.  I need to take the kids more often.
