Sunday in Senzokuike

After we finished watching General Conference (in Japan it's delayed a week), we decided to take a trip to one of our favorite parks - Senzokuike.  It was crazy windy, so we didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked, but after a hectic week it was nice to get out of the house.

Senzokuike is only 2 train stops from our house.  Kurt can get here by bike in 5-10 minutes.  We love having such a beautiful so close to us in the city.  There are 2 shrines, a park, library, baseball field, etc.  During cherry blossom season the pond is surrounded by beautiful blossoms (they just fell off).

The kids refer to the pond as "Goose Boat Lake" because you can rent paddle boats that look like geese. :)
