Baby Check-up
Yesterday morning I went to see mid-wife Doris for my 15 week check-up! Since I'm not really keeping track, it's making the weeks go by faster I think! According to a website I found, Baby is about the size of an orange. I thought I was just going to get to hear the heart beat and review my blood work, etc. I just had done, but since the ultrasound machine was in the room, Doris decided to do that instead. This is why I love Doris. At the end of my pregnancy with Logan I had several different ultrasounds. I think they make things seem just a little more real. Over the past week or so, I thought I've been feeling the baby move around, but was thinking it was a little too early for that--but the ultrasound confirmed my feelings. He/She was moving ALL over the place. VERY active. (I told that to Kurt when I got home and he was like...great)
I thought I'd show off our latest baby pictures. By the way her **GUESS** is that it is a boy. However, I saw what she was looking at and there really wasn't much there. I'd be absolutely fine having another boy, but I'm just not convinced we're having one yet. I think I'll wait until at least June 25th (when I have the BIG ultrasound) to start buy more little blue outfits.
For the ultrasound impaired: Baby head on right, feet on the left.
Same as above, but showing the heartbeat.
Baby's head on the left. He/She is sucking his/her thumb.
Doris' reason she *guesses* it's a boy. (i.e. you are looking between the legs)

Don't you love when you get to see the baby. It is a very reassuring feeling. My new niece or nephew looks health and strong.
I love ultrasounds! I think your baby is very cute =). I'm with you though, I'd hold off buying anything until the "big" ultrasound comes in. Another little boy would be fun for Logan though ... =)
CONGRATULATIONS! We are so excited for you to have another baby! How have you been feeling? We hope we can see you guys sometime (in the next year :)
Isn't that amazing? How something -someone- the size of an orange is so clearly a human. I just can't get over how beautiful that is.
