Logan's 2nd Birthday (a little early...)
Since we were already in town, we decided to celebrate Logan's birthday a little early along with my niece Autumn's birthday. Logan will be 2 on September 14th & Autumn will be 4 on September 8th.
Along with airplanes, Logan's latest obsession is trains (specifically Thomas Trains of course, but any train will do). That being said, we headed down to Old Sacramento to visit the California State Railroad Museum. It also was Gold Rush Days in Old Town, so along our way through Old Town we met some interesting people.

At first Logan was a little apprehensive around the "big" trains, but then he was pretty excited when he actually was able to walk through them. The 2nd floor also had tons of train tables for the kids to play with. We had to pry him away from there with tears running down his face. He REALLY loves trains.

After the museum we headed to dinner. We originally planned to eat in Old Town, but because of Gold Rush days it was packed. We opted for a different Mexican restaurant downtown. It was pretty yummy, but not any better than my favorite taqueria around the corner.
We then had to sort out the complicated bill that comes from a restaurant which doesn't do separate checks for a party of 15... Once that was taken care of we headed to my sister's house for cake and presents. Logan still hasn't received presents from us, but was spoiled by his grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Since we've been home all of his presents have been opened and he's been doing the new toys rotation. (more pictures will be coming later...we took the birthday celebration pics on my mom's camera)
