Democrat and Republican Candidates on Proposition 8: Red vs. Blue?

In many old Nintendo games, there's a blue team and a red team or character. When I was a kid, my older brother would always take the blue character and make me play the red character. Did this have anything to do with my becoming a conflicted Republican? Maybe.

Well, in this election, there's one thing both Red and Blue voters can agree on. Marriage as defined between a man and a woman is supported by both parties. In fact, all four candidates have unequivocally declared their support of traditional marriage, despite what some people my try to convince you of. A vote for Obama or McCain should also be a vote for Proposition 8.

Don't be fooled into thinking that voting Democrat means you SHOULD vote No on Proposition 8. You can vote YES on 8 AND for either candidate and NOT be conflicted.
