Obama Supports Traditional Definition of Marriage

Here is a video I haven't seen before which shows Barack Obama speaking openly and clearly on why he supports civil rights for all and the preservation of traditional marriage and how that should be achieved. I completely agree with him on this (as you've seen from my prior posts) and if he's elected, I would look forward to seeing where he takes this. I would like to see marriage as a religious rite continue to exists as it has traditionally been defined (Man + Woman) while still seeing any unfair laws towards same-sex couples changed.



This is the ONLY way people from all faiths and backgrounds can be treated equally under the law. Redefining marriage as anything other than between a man and a woman would effectively trample under many rights of people who currently teach, practice, and believe in traditional marriage and it isn't the way Civil Rights advocates would have us vote. Vote Yes on Proposition 8 this fall. A vote of No on Proposition 8 is a vote against the family, against Barack Obama, and against the American Civil Rights Movement.
