Halloween Festivities

Every year (at least since we've been here) VMware has put on a Halloween party for its workers and their children. Since the economy has taken a turn for the worse and VMware getting a new CEO they have cut a lot of "luxuries" at Kurt's work. We assumed the Halloween party would be added to the list, but luckily it wasn't! It rained the day before Halloween, Halloween morning, and then later in the evening...but it did stay nice for a new short hours in the afternoon. First Logan picked out his pumpkin to decorate. It was cute, I think he picked the smallest one in the bunch!

We then headed inside the cafeteria that they turned into a Halloween festival. Activities included pumpkin & cookie decorating, goodies, story time, Halloween picture taking, carmel apples (which the dog found and are before Kurt could...), and lots of food.
Since the cafeteria was crowded we decided to eat outside. All Logan wanted to do was walk across the sky bridge that connects two buildings. Lately he's been obsessed with ANYTHING related to trains. He finds "tracks" everywhere (i.e. zipper on jacket, sliding door, my paper cutter, etc).Above picture is Logan getting ready to go trick-or-treating with Daddy. Logan loved it and has been enjoying the candy ever since...
