So, I haven't been very good about blogging lately...just posting pictures...so I thought I should write a little something. Kelsie got lots of compliments yesterday on her little Christmas outfit. (Thanks Anissa for sharing Aubrey's clothes!) She is growing quite a bit, but it was funny because I totally had to safety pin the back of her dress--overlapping 4-5 inches. :) I also had fun making her matching bow the night before. It ended up looking pretty good if I do say so myself. (FYI-I've made several "big" bows for her using knee highs and ribbon. Her daddy really likes them. Thanks Alyse for showing me how!)
Yesterday was a pretty busy day, which is pretty unusual for a Sunday. We headed to church early to meet with President Lathrop to renew our temple recommends and then we got to enjoy the beautiful Christmas program during Sacrament meeting. Almost the entire meeting was music--I love those ones! Then during Primary we were asked to come and help during Sharing Time. The Primary President read a different version of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" talking about the night before Christ comes again and making sure we're ready. We (mainly Kurt) had to act out the parts.
After church we fed our 2 sets of missionaries...it's been a long time! Between being pregnant and then having a newborn I was worried that I'd end up feeding them mac'n'cheese or something like that. However, since one of the sets of Elders had 6 baptisms (yes 6!) we treated them well to spiral cut ham and all of the fixings. They also just reopened our area to the Chinese Elders, so we have 2 sets of missionaries again, although we do share the English set with another ward. In their very first week the Chinese Elders taught 35 lessons! Hopefully they'll continue to find people who are ready to here about the gospel.
Now begins the rest of the holiday festivities. Tonight we're heading to Redwood City to Lisa & Kevin's House (my BFF from high school) to celebrate Hanukkah. Bring on the potato latkes! mmmm And then Tuesday night we're heading to Cameron Park to spend Christmas with my family. It should be a lot of fun, but crazy as usual! 9 kids under the age of 12!

Hey, I stopped by your house last night to drop of a little gift and realized you had already left to Sacramento. Woops! I'll have to give it to you later :)
Merry Christmas!
