I'm glad my baby isn't a hooker...

Having a new little one I've become accustomed to the random questions/comments as I tote her around shopping, etc.

How old is she?
How much does she weigh?
How does her big brother like her? etc.

So this morning Logan, Kelsie, and I went to Michaels to get some supplies. As I was wandering around the store I noticed Kelsie lost her sock somewhere along the way. But do I get a comment about carrying around a newborn in the cold sockless? Um no.

Instead as I was paying for my items this rather loud lady blurts out, "Now that's a baby!".

I politely smile back and make some comment about her being cute or something like that.

The lady continues on. "She actually looks like a baby! I saw a baby the other day whose mom dressed her like a HOOKER. She looked like she was 9 or 10 and ready to go to school..." She mumbled on and on about this hooker baby as she walked off. The cashier and I just kind of looked at each other with that "OK....." expression.

So I guess I'm glad Kelsie doesn't look like a 9 year old school-going Hooker.

At least the preteen hooker was headed to school. Hehe.

For some reason, I misread the title at first and thought it was going to be about your hooker babysitter. So I guess it could be more strange...

Ya why doesn't anyone say "Oh, she dropped a sock!" ?! I lost several VERY cute socks in public places. Everyone notices the little hands, chubby cheeks, etc, but no one notices the missing sock?? Geez.
