First of all, I want to thank Mr. Flat Tire Fixer Guy for saving me last Thursday morning. Norman S. you are my hero. I had just dropped off Logan at a friend's house so I could run Kelsie to her 4 month check-up...when as soon as I got on the freeway my "flat tire" light came on. :( 880 is a crazy freeway so I had to carefully make my way over from the fast lane to the shoulder. Kurt rode the bus to work that day and was all the way over in Palo Alto anyways...so I decided to call my friend Tanya and see if her husband Noa was home (he works nights). Well, he was...but before I was even off the phone with Tanya, Norman drove up and fixed my tire for FREE. He was seriously there within 5 minutes!
Saturday we had to say goodbye to some good friends. :( Both the Basilius Family and Ramirez Family are moving out of our ward over the next couple weekends. We're definitely going to miss them! Logan LOVES playing with Charlie and Oskie and well Liesl was supposed to be Kelsie's best friend. :)
Earlier in the day we also attended a Farewell BBQ for Nathaniel Lealao. He has been called to serve a mission for our church in Atlanta, Georgia. He is going to be a great missionary! Kurt worked with him for a while right after he was called as our ward Young Men President.
Other random stuff:
*I was recently asked to help with the Name Extraction program in our Stake. Basically I look through really old documents and pull off important information (names, birth dates, marriage dates, etc). The purpose is to help old documents become more searchable. The thing that is even cooler...every name I am able to pull off is send directly to the temple to have ordinance work done.
*Allergies are killing our family.
*We're going to Cameron Park this weekend to celebrate my mom's birthday!

woah wait... your car has a fancy light that says flat tire? THAT'S AWESOME!! also it sounds like you need a fhe on how to change a tire ;) my dad did that one time with all us girls. he also threw in "name that tool". like monkeywrench, philips, flathead etc. so when he asked us to get something from the toolbox, we would know. but i still don't. nor am i brave enough to change a tire!
It is pretty awesome...although our spare tire also has the sensor...not cool when you're late heading to Utah and the light comes on as you're trying to leave.
Thank you so much for the adorable scrapbook pages you made with pictures and notes from everyone at the BBQ. You are so thoughtful. I love it.
