This weekend we welcomed Elder Keyser back to the bay. :) Nick was officially released from his mission on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010. He flew back to Utah to see the rest of the family and to meet with his Stake President. After spending about a week and a half at home, Kurt's parents and Nick drove back out to California to tour his mission and have his Union City Homecoming. Saturday they were able to attend a baptism of a girl that Nick helped teach before heading over to our house.
On Sunday, both Kurt and Nick spoke in our Sacrament meeting. It was an awesome meeting. Both of them did a great job! My mom even commented that Nick's talk was one of the best return missionary talks she'd heard. Kurt did awesome too. He spoke on the importance of work and how it is a blessing.

After church we headed back to our house for lunch/dinner. Nick recently served in a Young Single Adult Ward and made some great friends. Several of them came over to hear his talk and hang out for the day.

Sunday night we invited some ward members that affected Nick in the short time he lived with us. FYI - Kurt picked out Nick's cake...not Logan. :)

Kurt took Monday off from work so he could spend some time with his family. We decided to just have a relaxing day. Craig, Nancy, & Nick also needed to rest a little bit before heading North to tour the rest of the mission. We started off the day going for a walk along a trail by our house. Nick used to spend hours running along this trail, so it was kind of a special spot to him. Afterward we headed to sushi, did a little shopping, and then came home and took a long much needed nap.

Craig, Nancy, and Nick left for the rest of the trip Tuesday morning. Kurt, Nick, and I stayed up way too late visiting and catching up a couple nights in a row...so that's why we look super tired in the pictures...
