Happy Sunday

Indeed it was.

Logan was asked to give his first prayer in Primary and did a great job.

My friend Andrea is subbing in Nursery and agreed to let me sneak Kelsie in a few weeks early. :) I was able to sit through Relief Society in peace! (Kelsie usually tries to play the piano, pull the tablecloth off, go through the ladies purses, etc.) And she did a great job in Nursery. No crying, etc. as far as I know. Just dropped her off and she loved it. Logan was the same way. Gotta love independent kids. They definitely love and want to be with us, but enjoy going and doing things on their own too.
We also celebrated part of Kurt's birthday (which is actually today). I made him baked chicken katsu for dinner (which he loves) and we opened presents. I had 2 of his pictures custom framed to hang in our bedroom. He LOVED them. I took pictures I'll had a little later. I had intentions to make him a birthday pie, but realized I forgot to buy sweet condensed milk at the store. Doh! So we'll be getting his pie tonight instead. My friend Cherisse offered to let our kids join them for Family Home Evening so we could go out to sushi in peace. I'm definitely looking forward to a date with my honey!
