Kelsie has finally reached the magical 18 months of age. All of you Mormon Moms know what I am talking about -- NURSERY!!! I actually already sneaked her in a couple weeks early thanks to a friend who has been subbing, and she's stayed like a champ. No whining, No crying. Not even a poopy diaper. Go Kelsie!Other fun facts about Kelsie:
- She is high energy and always keeps us on our toes.
- Loves computers, especially when mom forgets to lock it up.
- Loves to dance and sing.
- Starting to talk a lot. Common phrases include, "I want that." "Where's Gogie (Logan)?"
- Loves chu chus, her dollies, books, puzzles, her princess car, coloring, and playing outside.
- Commonly only has ONE sock and someone else's shoes on.
- Hates wearing pants and fights me every morning to put them on.
- Loves her "pretties" (hair clip, bows, etc), but constantly pulls them out.
- She is becoming more independent and wants to do everything herself.
- Loves calling people on the phone.
- Unfortunately still sucks her thumb. (Anyone have ideas to break the habit?)
Also, yesterday we went to her post-op appointment with Dr. Amato. The doctor was very pleased with her progress and said we won't have to see her again unless we contact her with concerns. Yeah!
P.S. Kelsie said her own prayer tonight: "Dear Heavenly Father. Amen." lol

That bitter fingernail stuff seems to work great. My kids were never thumb suckers but it worked to wean them off other things. I bought the Barielle kind from drugstore.com. Crazy expensive, but kids hate the taste.
