Tomorrow our little pumpkin turns 20 months old. She is the biggest sweetheart always saying please and thank you. She carries around her babies giving them kisses and feeding them bottles. She loves the Berenstein Bears, Kipper, and Calliou (and says all of their names constantly). She loves books and being read to. Our most common night time books are My Many Colored Days by Dr. Seuss and Princess Party by Joy Allen (one of my mom's close friends). I will have to admit, they get read more often because they are fast reads. :)
Kelsie's surgery was completely successful. Other than briefly being clogged in Utah due to a cold and allergies...her eyes have been crystal clear and extremely beautiful! She also is starting to get more and more hair. Someday I hope to be able to give her pigtails, but we're still waiting. For now the curls are coming in.
Kelsie also loves to sing and dance. I'm totally finding her a dance place to put her in once we move. She walks around on her tip tops and dances to any music that has a beat. She also loves to sing the ABC song and Head, Shoulders, Knees, & Toes.
While Kelsie is definitely girly a good portion of the time, she has a whole lot of tom-boy in her! She loves digging in the dirt, playing bugs, growling like a dinosaur with her brother, and playing trains/cars. While at her brother's swim lessons I had to strap her in her leash because she almost dove into the pool all by herself (luckily I caught her!).
Some of Kelsie's favorite sayings:
- "I'm hungry" "I want breakfast" (the girl LOVES to eat)
- "I don't know" (response to half of all questions)
- "Amen"
- "I love you"
- "Where's Gogie?"
- "Bye Bye" (waving as she goes to sleep)
- "pretty shoes"
- "Yeah!" (nodding her head up and down really fast)
- "I OK" (while crying after getting hurt)
- "I want that!"
- "I gotchu!"
