Big Basin Way

I don't want to curse us, BUT assuming all inspections go well....we found a house!!! We're officially in escrow, and better yet it's NOT a short sale or a foreclosure.

We accepted the seller's counteroffer yesterday and are moving forward.  Inspections will be completed next week...so knock on wood they don't find anything horrible like on the last house!  This house has been taken care of very well and the 2 acres (yes 2 acres!!!) are already landscaped, so we don't anticipate any major issues.  (Plus it was built in 1993)

The house is a little smaller than some of the others we were looking at (1740 sq. feet), but it does have the potential to expand if we feel like we need the room.  There are 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.  It's just down the street from Big Basin Redwoods State Park.  In fact you probably could camp out at our house, fish in Boulder Creek behind the house, and then go hike around the park. ;)

Our close of escrow date is currently scheduled for September 24th.  I'm guessing we'll probably be moving in Conference weekend, but we'll have to discuss it later.

My absolute favorite thing about the property (besides the yard) is the picture windows and skylights throughout the house.  Oh they threw in the riding lawn mower for free, for Kurt's 3 lawns. lol

Wow I LOVE the windows in the house! Looks great, hope everything goes well this time around. (Is this the one that is down the road from the school or was that another one?) Either way, great looking house!
