Our main purpose in flying to Utah was to attend our new nephew Magnus's baby blessing, but we were excited to visit the rest of Kurt's family too! Once in Utah we learned that Jason and Jeanette weren't going to be able to make it to the blessing. They had to take a quick trip to California in order for Jason to interview with DISNEY! Since we missed them at Thanksgiving, we didn't want to miss them again!
Anyways, Kurt woke up Saturday morning in a lot of pain. He recently has been working a lot outside - chopping wood, falling down hills, etc....lol Our wonderful and talented certified massage therapist sister-in-law Jeanette gave him a massage. He was in heaven (as pictured above).
After the massage we were scheduled to go to lunch at Tucanos (mmmmmmm), but when we got there it had an hour and a half wait! So we decided to head to Macaroni Grill instead. We had a delicious meal and then as we were leaving, a lady walked by that looked familiar to me but I couldn't place her. Kurt immediately turned around and said, "Sister Evans?" The lady turned around and smiled. She was Kurt's mission presidents wife. She escorted us back to her table and Kurt was able to visit with his mission president
President/Elder David Evans. He was SOO excited.
