Brother Keyser
As said in my previous post, Kurt is now in the Bishopric of our little San Lorenzo Valley Ward. My friend Sherry called today and said, "Congratulations! Or should I say Condolences?" ...My thoughts exactly!
While I'm definitely not excited to sit by myself during Sacrament meeting or have him gone for more meetings, I am very thankful that my husband is worthy and willing to serve in the Bishopric.
My dad was inactive in the church until my teens years, so I never really had a STRONG Priesthood presence in my home. My children have been given more fathers blessings in their short lives, than I ever had. Kurt will also have the opportunities to serve more and share his priesthood with widows, single sisters, and others. I'm excited for him. Since being called and ordained to the office of High Priest, I have noticed him trying to make his self better or more in tune with the spirit...and I love him for that.

Best of luck! You will do great! I love that you had the kids practice sitting reverently for you. You'll have to let us know how that really works out. :)
