We started off the morning with
heart pancakes thanks to inspiration from Pinterest. Unfortunately might weren't quite as pretty...still getting used to the gas stove...heat was on a little too high and I was multi-tasking. Lucky for me my cute kids didn't care one bit and loved them.
The kids also received some Valentines from their awesome Grandparents. Kelsie keeps re-reading her card and Logan is in love with his new dinosaur socks. He's excited to show them to friends at school.
While Daddy was at a meeting, the kids and I had fun cutting out hearts and making valentines. Logan was especially excited for his dad to see his surprise. Both kids are at such a fun age.
Tonight I made a batch of
Nancy's yummy sugar cookies and the kids had fun decorating and eating them. Kurt said he flashed back like 25 years. His mom, Nancy, makes these sugar cookies for almost every holiday. :) For someone who didn't care if our apartment had an oven or not...he sure enjoyed the cookies. :)

We did heart shaped pancakes that didn't turn out so cute but tasted pretty good. Oh, and we are making sugar cookies too. :)
