My mom and Aunt Nancy arrived in Tokyo late Wednesday night (May 29th)! Kurt met them at the airport and escorted them to our apartment. We got them settled in for the night and then started off on a crazy busy, fun two weeks. Thursday afternoon, we decided to take them to Tengu, one of our favorite restaurants close to our place for a traditional Japanese meal.
Smoking is still allowed in most restaurants in Japan, so we opted to sit in one the traditional Japanese rooms were you sit on the floor at a short table to avoid some of the smoke.
