It's a Girl!

Thursday morning we went to the hospital for ultrasound Round 2.  My first ultrasound was at 18 weeks, but the baby was measuring closer to 16 1/2 weeks so they asked me to come back.   They were able to get everything they needed during this ultrasound and the baby was measuring right on schedule (19 1/2 to 20 1/2 weeks)!  This was a big relief for me because for some reason I've felt uneasy about this pregnancy lately--  I'm guessing it's mostly because of everything we've been going through with Avri.

Luckily, everything looks great! And we will be welcoming another baby girl late April/early May!  We currently planning to name her Emi, which means blessed with beauty in Japanese.  We probably will give her the name Emilyn has a full name.  We are still working on a middle name...

Kelsie is super excited to have another sister.  Logan was bummed at first, but is ok with it now.  He loved coming to the ultrasound and seeing all of the different body parts. He was pretty funny.  Avri still has no idea what is going on, but I'm excited for  her to have a little sister close in age to play with.  They will be 23 months apart.
